A brand-new McDonald’s restaurant opened in Wincanton today, 10th February 2021, next door to The Wagtail on Lawrence Hill, creating 65 full and part-time positions for the local community. It's only Drive-Thru for now, but it's open 24 hours.

I am not a dog owner, but for the whole of this year, including lock-downs, I have been taking an elderly friend’s elderly dog for a weekly walk, something we have both greatly enjoyed.
