Arsenal Soccer School at Wincanton Sports Ground this Summer
With the Summer holidays fast approaching, Arsenal Soccer School has decided to return to Wincanton Sports Ground running sessions throughout the summer break! The sessions start on Wednesday 30th July on the astro, and run every Wednesday until 27th August.

Residents and visitors to Wincanton Post Office were taken aback on Monday 7th July to find it closed after a fuse box on the premises overheated and burst into flames.

The C.A.T.C.H. group carries out work to look after the local river and its immediate environment. The group are holding a litter-pick event on Sunday 6th July 2014 from 9am, and are appealing for volunteers to turn up on the day to help.
Fantastic Flower Show in the Parish Church
This year’s Flower Festival in Wincanton Parish Church really pulled out all the stops for beautiful and original displays. The theme this year was Celebration and the displays were made by members of a wide range of schools and organisations in the town.

Young Footballers Raise £2,500 to Make Wincanton Sports Ground HeartSafe
During the Open Day festivities on Sat 14th June at Wincanton Sports Ground, the Town Mayor, Mr Deryck Lemon, officially made available a defibrillator called HeartSafe, installed from money raised by Wincanton Town FC (Youth Section).
Building Work on The MUGA is Underway! UPDATED
