Wincanton Bonfire Night returns this Saturday!

It’s been many a year since the last organised town bonfire and fireworks display, but for 2016 it’s back. The youth teams who use the facilities at the Wincanton Sports Ground have organised a bonfire and fireworks event for the people of Wincanton.

For the safety of both the spectators and carnival entrants the Carnival committee has announced some typical road closures. Wincanton & District Gardeners Association held its 61st Annual Flower Show on Saturday 3rd September in the Memorial Hall. There was a high standard of entries and keen competition across all classes, including flowers and vegetabes as well as home and handicrafts.
