Giving everybody the opportunity to take part in sport is something we are passionate about at Wincanton Sports Ground, so when we received funding to set up a football session for adults with disabilities, we couldn’t wait to get started!
Arsenal Soccer School at Wincanton Sports Ground this Summer
With the Summer holidays fast approaching, Arsenal Soccer School has decided to return to Wincanton Sports Ground running sessions throughout the summer break! The sessions start on Wednesday 30th July on the astro, and run every Wednesday until 27th August.

On 2nd April the Royal Artillery Gold Cup will take place for one year at Wincanton Racecourse. Having been abandoned at Sandown Park in February due to a waterlogged course, Wincanton is pleased to offer the race an alternative venue.

A new event in the local racing and food calendar makes its debut at Wincanton Racecourse on Sunday 23rd March. The Food and Farming Race Day will feature many of the area's leading producers, growers, bakers, cheese-makers and cider-makers.
Disability Football Sessions at Wincanton Sports Ground
Wincanton Sports Ground has received funding from the Somerset FA to help set up football session for adults with disabilities. The sessions will be run on the astro-turf pitch every Monday from 3rd March.
