A Christmas concert by the Pilgrim Singers
The Wincanton area ecumenical choir, the Pilgrim Singers, under the leadership of Jane Fenton have all been rehearsing with enthusiasm for their next concert. This will be their annual charity Christmas concert which this year has for its title “Behold the Star.”
It will be held in the Wincanton Baptist Church on Sunday 15th December at 7pm and will as usual consist of Christmas favourites, special international additions, dramatic readings and solo performances. These always add up to a warm and engaging seasonal occasion which is augmented by delicious refreshments and time to socialise.
While their summer concert was in aid of a school in Uganda, this Christmas the charity is Wincanton's very own CAT Bus. This minibus service provides much needed transport from their homes for those in our town who most need it.
Tickets for the concert are £12, under-16’s free, and they can be obtained from Wincanton Post Office or by calling 01963 33695.
