Wincanton Town Council Election 2011 Results
Our Town Council election results were released last Friday, 6th May, a little later than those of the District Council. Of 17 candidates 15 were successfully elected, including several new names. Here is a full table of the results.
District Council Results Show Interesting Swings
By 3.45pm last Friday, 6th May, the District Council election results were announced, showing very interesting swings and a significant increase in turnout compared to 2007.
Rakes, Rogues and Gentlemen of the 18th Century

Windows Smashed at Divine Wines - Police Seek Information
On two occasions the window at Divine Wines, High Street, Wincanton has been smashed. Police are very keen to speak to witnesses from the incident, who may have seen the offender/s or vehicles connected to the damage.
