Wincanton Town Team Seeks Market Assistant

The Wincanton Town Team is looking to appoint a Market Assistant to work alongside their Market Co-ordinator with the running of the Wincanton Street Market.

Job Specification for Market Assistant

• Liaise with the Market Co-ordinator.
• Distribute signage around local towns prior to market day and remove after market day.
• Help plan the layout of the market with the Market Co-ordinator.
• Liaise with stall holders on the day of the market and help solve any problems/questions including helping them load and unload and erect gazebos where necessary.
• Distribute door-to-door advertising around local towns.
• Reinforce terms and conditions with stall holders and public.
• Approx. 15 hours per month.
• Payment details on application.

This role will involve physical work and the employee must be physically able to do these tasks.
