Wincanton Street Market logoFirstly, the Wincanton Town Team would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone who came out and supported us on the first market – despite the weather.

Sunday 20th October will see our second market take place in Wincanton; however due to the fact that the process for the road closure has changed, we will be holding the market from Julian Shaves (where he will be selling his delicious fresh fruit and veg, alongside plants) along past Totally Floored and into Carrington Way Car Park.

Entertainment-wise we will be joined by the Wincanton Silver Band from 11.00am as well as some buskers and a stilt walker.

As well as some familiar faces from the last market we will also be joined by plenty of new traders.

Below is a list of some of them:

Talitha's Cakes Funky Buddah homewares
Magic Pumpkin Cushions Black dog, ginger cat
Sweet Cumin Indian food Abridged Designs
Shabby Shed Interiors Marc's Wood
Pure Pigs perfect place to get your meat for Sunday lunch Children's party clothes
Be Smart Beauty Forever Fashion
1 image photography Silver Star Jewellery
Thai Mango Buttons and Bits
Eat Dark Matters Comins Tea
Treacle Jack Art of Cakes
Portuguese Tarts Freshly made Pizza
Charming Jewels Caroline Tucker Designs
Olives Hot Potatoes
Fudge Churros

The pubs and cafes will be open in town again as will Papertrees, Wild Cards, The Lunchbox, Applegarth Emporium and more.

At November's Market we will be getting YOUR feedback on the markets. We will be asking you about the day and the location as well as your general response.

Thank you for your support.

Many congratulatiosn to everyone involved in making the Sunday Market happen again, especially in its new site in the Carrington Way Car Park which gave it that authentic "French" feel. Great to see so many old friends enjoying it, too! A real community get-together as well as a chance to buy.
