By Mandy Forsey

The Queen's Head, Milborne Port, host to the new Farmers' MarketWe are holding our first ever Farmers' Market in Milborne Port on Sunday 4th March. This will be a regular event held on the first Sunday of each month at The Queens Head, which is situated on London Road (A30) Milborne Port.

The Farmers' Market is going to be open from 11.00am - 2.00pm and is situated in the Skittle Alley and Milk Parlour at the pub. These are lovely spacious areas and we are hoping to build on this event and really put Milborne Port Farmers Market on the map.

Take a look around our local home grown or hand-made produce; enjoy a hot chocolate, tea or coffee and you can treat yourself to a bacon butty or other refreshments that are on offer. Please come along and support this new event and make it a success and stock up on local cheese, handmade cakes, and even some craft stalls will be available.

This is just the right time to look for that Mother's Day present, to buy something handmade and bespoke for that special Mum. This is fast approaching and it is always nice to get something a bit different and locally made, spoil her on this special day with a lovely gift.

Anyone interested in having a stall at our Farmers' Market can get in touch with Mandy on 07717 117744 or . All traders have to display only hand-made or locally hand-grown items, all tables are free of charge. The owners of the pub, Toni and Steve, have kindly offered their rooms free of charge and are supporting this new and exciting opportunity for Milborne Port Farmers' Market.
