Art Lectures on the Italian Renaissance by Hendrika Foster

Charlton Horethorne Village Hall will be the venue for two series of ten weekly sessions on Italian Renaissance Art 1350-1500.

Tuesdays 4-5.30pm, October 12th - 14th December 2010. Fee £70.

The tutor for this course is Hendrika Foster MA who has built up a well deserved reputation for her ability to show you things in these paintings you have never seen before.

Her style is witty and irreverent and backed up by in depth study of the lives of the artists and the cultural, historical and religious forces at work in their time. With lectures illustrated by a fascinating series of slides they add up to a richly educative and entertaining experience. I know. I have been there.
