Saturday 7th October 2017 6:45pm
Caryford Community Hall, Castle Cary, BA7 7JJ

Singer-songwriter, musician and actress, Charlie Dore, best known for her 1979 hit “Pilot of the Airwaves”, will be joined on stage by Julian Littman (Steeleye Span, Dexy's Midnight Runners) who has performed with Charlie throughout her career including Glastonbury and Cropredy festivals.

Expect an evening of eclectic, contemporary folk as the pair swap guitars, mandolin, harmonium, ukulele, piano, autoharp, harmonies and stories as they showcase the brand new album “Dark Matter”, dip into the past five albums and also share original acoustic versions of hits Charlie has written for others, including George Harrison, Sheena Easton and Celine Dion. She may even do a new version of “Pilot of the Airwaves” but the new songs will stay with you too.

This is a fundraising event for Caryford Hall's Development Fund.

Tickets £12 advance/£15 on the night. www.wegottickets.com/event/401239
