The ladies of Wincanton strutted their stuff at the St Margaret’s Hospice Fashion Show on Friday 23rd May, in aid of an excellent cause and an evening of fashion and fun.
Coast to Coast Walk to Help Rebuild Typhoon-Ravaged Balud
We shall be walking coast-to-coast across Devon via the Two Moors Way in early June to raise money to help rebuild Balud village in the Phillipines. The people here, where I have family, lost everything in a typhoon in 2013.
Rochfords Raise Money for Bowel Cancer UK
Mark Rochford is taking part in Decembeard, a fundraising event held each December for Bowel Cancer UK. The challenge is to not shave for one month and grow a full beard. Part way through December, Mark's beard is coming on well!
Divine Wines Raffles Well Travelled Beaujolais for Wincanton Community Hospital
After its unique journey from France in a classic Mini Cooper, a rather special bottle of Beaujolais finally made its way to a happy owner on 14th December, when it was drawn in a charity raffle at Divine Wines in Wincanton.
