We started our charity quiz back in January 2008 and to date have raised over £5,600 for local and national charities. Well done to The Greenway Gang who won the 2010 quiz league!

Council Strongly Opposed to Plans for 350 Extra Homes

Wincanton town council has strongly opposed plans for 350 additional homes earmarked for the town by South Somerset District Council. Town councillors say they are unable to assess the impact the extra housing would have on the infrastructure of the town due to ongoing expansion. The town is already committed to 703 extra houses over the next few years, some of which are already built.
