Christmas 2015 Party Menu at Truffles

For office parties and family gatherings Truffles is the ideal venue. Menu A for 2 courses (starter plus main) will be £16 pp or £20 pp for 3 courses. Menu B for 3 courses plus canapés and coffee/petit four is £28 pp.

CHRISTMAS PARTY MENU – MENU A

£16 per person for 2 courses or £20 for three courses
1st-24th December 2015

Baked mushroom rarebit served with sautéed spinach and panchetta crisp.
Cream of carrot and ginger soup served with artisan bread.
Smoked salmon salad, dill crème fraîche and crisp olive oil croutes.


West Country bronze Turkey with pigs in blankets, chestnut stuffing and turkey gravy.

Confit pork belly kale parsnip purée and red wine jus.

Creamy wild mushroom and spinach fricassee tartlet.

Fresh herb crusted whiting fillet, white wine sauce and parmesan.

All served with roast potatoes, buttered baby Brussels sprouts and herb roasted root vegetables.


Christmas Pudding with brandy crème anglaise.
Warm chocolate tart with orange cream and chocolate ganache.
Vanilla panna cotta with mulled berries.
Three Cheese selection with grapes and crispbreads.

 

CHRISTMAS PARTY MENU - MENU B

£28 per person
1st-24th December 2015

Seasonal canapées.


Broccoli soup with goat’s cheese served with crusty bread.
Ham hock terrine with soft quail’s egg, baby salad and mustard dressing.
Cod fillet, clams and sauce verte.
Deep fried camembert with sautéed wild mushrooms and arugula.


West Country bronze turkey with a centre of pork sage and chestnut stuffing, sausages in smoked bacon blankets, châteaux potatoes, roasted root vegetables and rich turkey gravy.

Pan fried duck breast, garlic potato rösti, sweet red cabbage, beetroot, buttered spinach and red wine jus.

Baked salmon fillet with asparagus, roasted butternut squash, pommes parmentier and creamy Béarnaise sauce parcel.

Three layer squash terrine with rosemary gnocchi and hollandaise sauce.


Christmas Pudding with brandy crème anglaise.
Hot chocolate fondant with caramel ice cream and tuile biscuit.
Vanilla crème brûlée tart with raspberry sorbet.
Four cheese selection with grapes and crisp breads.


Coffee and petit fours.

Please make meal selections at least three days prior to your visit to assist ordering supplies. To secure advance bookings send £5 deposit. A discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to all bills.

The Christmas Party menus are available for either lunch or dinner starting on Tuesday December 1st through till Thursday December 24th 2015. We are normally closed Sundays and Mondays unless a specific advance booking request is made.

Advance bookings may also be made for Christmas Day lunch at £65 per person (children under 12 £30) and New Year’s Eve Dinner at £40 per person. Menus for these will be posted online nearer the time.

‘Jac & Co’ French accordion player Jacques Pellarin and his vocalist wife Corinne return for a dinner and music night at Truffles on Friday 13th November on their UK tour. Book early to see them for a memorable evening. £45 per person includes a three-course dinner. This event is likely to be sold out fast.
