A raffle held at a Fashion Show during October has raised £600 for St Margaret's Hospice.

Anna Cuff and the staff of local boutique, Preview, hosted the Fashion Show in Wincanton Town Hall. Over 100 local people attended the two shows, and enjoyed the vivid colours, varied textures and styles of the autumn and winter collections available in the boutique. Relaxed commentary during the day was provided by Finn Kennedy, who returned from France to support Anna and her team.

As a Community fundraiser with St Margaret's I'd like to say we're very grateful to Anna, her staff and all the guests for their support of St Margaret's. It was a fabulous show and the very generous donation of a handbag from Mulberry of Chilcompton, certainly raised interest and support for the raffle. This donation will help to fund visits to local patients by the St Margaret's Community Nurses. Their specialist knowledge of palliative care can greatly improve the quality of life of individuals living with a life-limiting illness. Thank you so much to everyone who took part in this fundraising success.
