Christmas Party Raceday at Wincanton Racecourse

On Thursday 3rd December Wincanton Racecourse hosts its Christmas Party Day. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the festive season with a day at the races. We have a range of lunch packages available, coupled with fantastic racing action.

The Wincanton Choir will be singing at the main entrance to welcome race goers to the day. The Paddock Pavilion will be full with everything festive. The Wincanton Choral Society will be singing carols and over 20 trade stands will be selling festive gifts including:

The Silk Road
Neals Yard
Phoenix Trading
In Clover
Muffet Monroe Design
Southcombe Brothers
Bloomingdale Flowers
Forage Somerset
Kimbers Farm Shop
Chris Reed – Artist
Vintage Tackroom

We will also be running a Christmas Jumper Competition – wear a festive jumper on 3rd December to enter the competition to win four Premier tickets to the Kingwell Hurdle Day on Saturday 20th February.

Just to clarify, carols will be performed by Wincanton Choral Society - there is another group now which is called the Wincanton Choir, which is not us. This sometimes leads to confusion.

I stand corrected: carols were being sung by both the Choral Society AND the Wincanton Choir, in different areas. Apparently, I was the one who got confused!
