A Happy Start to the New Year at Wincanton Racecourse

Wincanton Racecourse kicks off the New Year with a fine day's racing on Saturday, January 7th with the Bathwick Tyres sponsored race day, which has attracted Channel 4 Racing coverage.

Gates open at 11.00am with the first race off at 1.10pm.

A fortnight later, Wincanton stages another Saturday fixture on January 21st. On this day, Annual Members are being treated to an exclusive stable visit at the Somerset yard of five times Champion Trainer, Paul Nicholls. More Annual Members incentives are to be announced during the year with a David Pipe tour currently available on Sunday, February 12, 2012.

Wincanton Annual Membership costs £175 for 17 days of racing a year; in addition they receive reciprocal days at other racecourses, free parking, a voucher booklet and betting vouchers.

With 500 Annual Members already on the books, Wincanton looks forward to welcoming newcomers through the Back For Cash scheme; an additional 250 members (500 to 750) will see existing and new members receive a £50 refund and if the numbers reach 1000 they will pocket a further £25!
