Wincanton Over-70s Christmas Lunch

Wincanton Over-70s Christmas Lunch was held on Sunday 1st December 2019. It was hosted in partnership with King Arthur’s School. Wincanton Town Council and Somerset Community Foundation funded the event.
Guests arrived to carols played on piano by a pupil. Staff from King Arthur’s School prepared, cooked and plated the Christmas lunch. Year 11 students served and entertained the guests. Bingo and entertainment was provided by Wincanton Youth Theatre.
With help from King Arthur’s School staff, Year 11 pupils and volunteers, the event went smoothly and ninety four residents had a great day.
