Trailer Stolen from a Field in Holbrook

Friday 16 March 2012, 12:05
By Mandy Forsey

Between Friday 9th March and Monday 12th March 2012 a small low loader trailer with drainage attachments on it has been stolen from a field near Sweetacres in Holbrook, Wincanton.

This trailer has been modified by the owner and has lots of distinguishing features on it. The trailer is eight feet by four feet and has a built-on folding ramp that is removable. It has wide flotation tyres attached to it. The trailer has no mudguards or brakes and it also has a clevis hitch not a ball hitch which is quite unusual.

This type of theft is very inconvenient and upsetting for the owner. It has an effect on the owner's day to day life as it affects their work schedule and has cost implications. The cost of the trailer is approximately £600.00 but will be hard to replace due to the fact that the owner had modified it especially for their own use.
