We are very pleased to announce that Wincanton’s community hub, The Balsam Centre,
has been awarded four year’s funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK, for an exciting new Wincanton-based project: Good Stuff.

Good Stuff aims to create a better connected, healthier, more sustainable and socially inclusive community. The way it will do this is by working with local people to understand what is most important to them and develop a joint community vision.

Consultation with local residents is starting now to gather ideas about how to shape Good Stuff. This will include how to reduce isolation and loneliness, improve life for individuals, young people and families, develop new opportunities for employment and life skills and how to live and work more sustainably.

Give us your views in this short survey, and look out for project workers coming your way and let them know what Good Stuff would improve your life and that of our town!

For more information, please contact The Balsam Centre, Balsam Park, Wincanton BA9 9HB on 01963 31842 or email Sue Place, CEO, at or Becky Rowson, Communications, at .
