Tampered Fuel Pipes in Henstridge

Wednesday 28 March 2012, 23:02
By Mandy Forsey

Overnight on Tuesday 20th March to Wednesday 21st March 2012, two vehicles had their fuel pipes tampered with while parked up in the Windsor Terrace area of Henstridge. This is of concern for numerous reasons, the main one being petrol leaking from the vehicles which could be easily ignited by a passer-by. Please be aware and make sure you secure and check your vehicle for anything suspicious.

This type of incident is very inconvenient and upsetting for the owner. It also has an effect on others who could be put in danger by the callous behaviour of these people. These incidents have a cost implication as well and in these times of monetary tight budgets it is another thing that adds extra stress on the owners.

If you have any information in regard to these crimes or others, we ask you to get in contact with us on the new non emergency number 101, or you can contact Crimestoppers on the number below. This behaviour will not be tolerated and we are hoping for the assistance of the local community. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at this time."

If you have any information please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 They never ask your name and never trace your call.
