Reckless Driving in Castle Cary - Police Appeal for Witnesses

Avon and Somerset Constabulary are appealing for information from the public following a report of careless driving in the Church Street and South Street area of Castle Cary on Tuesday 29th May 2012 at approximately 2100hrs.

PC Charlie Allen said: "The neighbourhood beat team have been informed of a White Land Rover Freelander and a Black Nissan Qashqai driving recklessly within the town. I am appealing for anybody who may have witnessed these two vehicles in the area at that time to please come forward.

"I am particularly keen to speak with the driver of a White Ford Transit which was seen to be driving behind the two vehicles and may be able to provide some essential information to progress my enquires."

Witnesses are asked to contact the non-emergency contact number '101' or alternatively the public can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 - they will never attempt to trace or record your call and will never ask for your name.
