Police Report Round-Up - December 2012

A summary of police reports from Avon and Somerset Constabulary within Wincanton Window's catchment area in the latter part of December.

23 December - Criminal damage to car in Milborne Port

Between Sunday 23rd December at 10.00pm and Monday 24th December at 08.30am a vehicle had a brick thrown at the driver's window while it was parked in Paddock Walk, Milborne Port, causing the window to shatter. The large stone that was used was inside the vehicle on the driver's seat.

25th December - Criminal damage to car in Templecombe

Overnight on Tuesday 25th December/Wednesday 26th December a vehicle had a brick thrown at the windscreen while it was parked in the High Street, Templecombe. This caused the windscreen to shatter and will need to be replaced before the victim can use it again.

26th December - Milborne Port property burgled

On Wednesday 26th December entry was gained into a property in Wheathill Way, Milborne Port where items were stolen. These items consisted of an XBOX console plus a game, a ladder, various quantities of lager and spirits and tobacco.

29th December - Parked Car in Bruton has three tyres slashed

Overnight from Saturday 29th December to Sunday 30th December a vehicle parked in Burrowfields, Bruton had three tyres punctured by persons cutting the tyres. This has caused the victim unnecessary upset and expense as he has had to have all three tyres replaced. This type of vandalism is always upsetting and costly but at this time of year it is an expense that the victim can do without.
