King Arthur's Sports Teams Are On A Roll!

King Arthur's students have excelled themselves in Area finals for various sports. The "area" referred to is South Somerset.

HOCKEY:  This year KA students went to four Area Hockey finals. The Year 7 team came third, the Year 11 team came second, and the teams from Years 8 and 9 both came first, becoming Area Champions!

5-ASIDE FOOTBALL:  A team of Year 7 Girls, and another of Boys are both area 5-aside champions and will be off to the Regional finals in Torquay in February.

BADMINTON:  Our Under 16's Badminton are through to the County finals.

Dave Dwyer, Deputy Headteacher said "Through sport King Arthur's aims to raise self esteem for students so that it enables them to achieve good academic results. These students who have represented the school and achieved so much will no doubt to go on to achieve greater things both in the academic and sporting fields."
