Horsington Church School fundraising youth market
Horsington Church School is organising its own youth market in Cole's Yard, Wincanton on Saturday 9th November between 10am and 2pm.
In September, the School launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds towards a big project: refurbishing the classrooms. At the time of the article, almost 60% of the target sum has been reached, thanks to the generosity of parents and people in the local community.
With only one month to go to reach the full amount, parents and pupils are planning more and more events to appeal to the wider community. There will be cake sales in school, an old bikes auction (Friday 22nd November in the School's playground), carol singing (7th December at the Wagtail in Wincanton) and many other private initiatives. Once the funds are secured a big working party will be established.
Please come to our market to support our school, have lunch with us and enjoy a bit of local shopping! Hot drinks and soup, savoury and sweet nibbles, handmade arts and crafts will be for sale.
