Criminal Damage at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Primary School

Wednesday 20 June 2012, 13:46
By Mandy Forsey

On or after the 14th June 2012 there has been criminal damage to a wire fence at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel RC Primary School in Wincanton. The wire fence that is situated above the large stone wall on the corner of Balsam Fields has been cut, creating a large hole. This has now had to be secured and there is always a cost implication to damage of any kind.

This incident has upset the Primary School and there is a cost implication to have it secured, and for staff to have to complete this when they have other work to carry out.

This kind of mindless damage will not be tolerated and is not acceptable. If you have any information regarding these crimes or others, we ask you to contact with us on the new non-emergency number 101 or you can contact Crimestoppers on the number below. This behaviour will not be tolerated and we are hoping for the assistance of the local community. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at this time.

If you have any information please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name and never trace your call.
