• "Wessex Diaries - Sketches from Life in Hardy Country" is a newly published book by John Vallins of Horsington. John has been contributing a fortnightly Country Diary column for the Guardian newspaper over the past 20 years and this book contains gems from these articles.
• Graham Wilkins - an article in warm appreciation of this most respected local man who was sadly killed in a car accident earlier this summer.
• Farm Watch - With the demise of so many local farms it is good for our rural community to keep up to date with what is happening on the farms in our area.
