February is National Heart Month

British Heart FoundationWhilst most people think of heart disease as synonymous with heart attacks, there are many more heart ailments and conditions that can affect the heart.

Heart disease includes coronary artery disease (heart attack), congestive heart disease, heart failure, heart arrhythmias and many more, less well known conditions.

The good news is that you can stack the odds in your favour when it comes to heart disease, so you don't become a part of the statistics.

Here, at Wincanton Wholefoods, we'll be joining in the National Heart Month by running special heart-related offers and making information available during February.

Some of these promotions and information products will only be available via the web, so if you want to be kept up to date, or grab the web-only offers, then you'll need to sign up to our Facebook page (and "like" us).

Living a Heart Healthy Life, by Steve StapletonYou'll be taken to our "Healthy Heart" page, where you can download a report "Living A Heart Healthy Life" that will give you the basics on such subjects as:

  • Cholesterol
  • High Blood pressure
  • Women and heart disease
  • Stress and your heart
  • Supplements that can help
  • And more...

Living a heart healthy life may not be the easiest option in this day and age, but if you want to reach old age, it's worth making the effort.
