Citizens Advice Increases its Services in Wincanton

The Balsam Centre, Wincanton

Citizens Advice South Somerset is a local charity. We provide free and confidential information and advice to everyone in the community.

We are increasing our services in Wincanton. From Monday 19th October we will be at the Balsam Centre every week from 10.00am – 3.00pm. We will operate a drop-in service, no appointment necessary, and will have a team of trained advisers available to help throughout the day.

The Wincanton team will offer our full range of support including help with any of the following:

  • Citizens Advice team posterHelp with benefit claims and other welfare support
  • Personal finances and debt
  • Housing or tenancies matters
  • Employment and self-employment
  • Emergency help in a crisis
  • Family and personal issues
  • Consumer rights
  • Neighbourhood disputes
  • Immigration and residency
  • Human Rights

We run free training for volunteer advisers, caseworkers and advice assistants
