Local Girl Returns to Wincanton for Horticultural Talk

Local girl Adele Rodgers (22), currently studying for a BSc Hons degree in Horticulture with Business Management at Writtle College (University of Essex) is returning to Wincanton on Friday 4th February to present a talk and slide show entitled "A Student at Chelsea".

She is presenting the talk on her experience of exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2009, whilst studying at Sparsholt College Hampshire. Along with her fellow students she was awarded a Silver Medal for their garden entitled "Seasonal Survival" entered in the Continuous Learning Section.

Adele will be presenting her talk at the February Meeting of the Wincanton Gardeners' Association, held at the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. The talk is open to non members for an entrance fee of £1, which includes refreshments.
