Transition Vision - multi-channel internet TV for Somerset, Dorset and WiltshireWe are planning to shoot a video of the Wincanton Christmas Extravaganza on Friday, December 2nd. Such an event, with things going on all over the place, is very hard to capture with just one camera person and therefore anyone who has a camcorder would be very welcome to join in. It would also be desirable to have some "clean" audio recordings of the carols and various other pieces of music to add to the edited video. If anyone is interested in this aspect, we can lend you a digital audio recorder and a suitable mic.

We will edit the material that is produced into a short and entertaining film of the evening which will be posted on YouTube, Vimeo and Transition Vision (www.transitionvision.tv) and can be embedded in other sites who may be interested. Not only will the video be a record of this year's event, it can be used to promote Wincanton's Christmas Extravaganza for future years.

If you're interested, contact John Holman via the Transition Vision website or ring 07713 841984. We are based at the Balsam Centre and will be pleased to explain further and to offer advice which should help you to improve your video recording results. Everyone who helps will receive a full credit on the video.

Transition Vision, founded in June 2010, is a multi-channel internet TV service for Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.
