Bayford's new Village Hall opens Saturday 10th
The opening of the newly named Bayford Village Hall will take place on Saturday 10th December. Since the purchase of the hall in April 2016 it has been repaired and converted into a safe and accessible community facility, at a total cost of £96,000.
Late night Christmas shopping in Wincanton
On Friday 2nd December many Wincanton High Street traders will be keeping their shops open till 7:30pm, so residents and visitors can enjoy some late night Christmas shopping. But that's not all that'll be going on in town that night.
Carols by Candlelight in Bruton
Bruton Choral Society present their traditional Carols by Candlelight concert at Bruton School for Girls. As ever, there will be mulled wine, mince pies and audience participation in an atmospheric candlelit evening of medieval Christmas music.

Wincanton's 2016 Christmas Lantern Parade will be on Saturday 19th November, despite this year's Extravaganza having been cancelled. The parade will coincide with the Town Council’s annual ceremony to switch on the town Christmas tree lights. There'll also be a lantern competition!
