Wincanton Primary School thanks the community for a huge volunteer DIY effort
A team of 34 volunteers, including parents, staff and members of the community, decorated six classrooms and built a large decked stage area at Wincanton Primary School, which has been overwhelmed by the generous community support.

Recall Flyball Club’s Boot and Table-Top Sale will be at Wincanton Sports Ground, raising money for Matt’s Respite Retreats and Somerset & Dorset Animal Rescue. There'll be lots of fun and activities, and it’s a chance to get to know the club and the charities involved.
Matt's Respite Retreats
Matt’s Respite Retreats is a Wincanton-based charity that works to offer affordable respite breaks in Weymouth for those affected by cancer. It handles a caravan on the Haven Weymouth Bay site, and is currently looking for both financial and operational support.
