Top panel at Wincanton’s Cheltenham Festival Preview lunch

The build up to the 2014 Cheltenham Festival begins in earnest at Wincanton Racecourse on Saturday 15th February when racing's elite hurdlers line-up in the Bathwick Tyres Kingwell Hurdle – the final preparation ahead of the iconic Champion Hurdle.

After which, on Thursday 6th March an all-star line up of racing aficionados will preview Cheltenham Festival contenders in the Kingwell Restaurant ahead of afternoon racing.

On the panel are the West Country's top trainer Paul Nicholls with Wincanton ambassador Joe Tizzard – stable jockey to Colin Tizzard. A trio of dedicated racing presenters – Alice Plunkett, Richard Hoiles and Luke Harvey – will provide their thoughts on the Festival runners.

Tickets to the preview luncheon cost £49.50 for premier admission, a three-course set menu, race-card, table for the day and the most informative Festival preview in Somerset.

Wincanton's Cheltenham Festival Preview Luncheon will start at 11.30am, ahead of racing that boasts a seven-race-card. Tickets must be pre-booked in advance by visiting www.wincantonracecourse.co.uk or calling the ticket office on 0844 579 3014. Afternoon racing starts at 2.30pm.
