Join the World's Biggest Coffee Morning Event at Wincanton Baptist Church
Wincanton Baptist Church will be holding a Macmillan Cancer Care coffee morning on Thursday 22nd September. The event runs between 10:30am and 12:00 noon, when visitors can relax over a nice cuppa, suitably balanced by a yummy home-made cake, or two.
Heritage Open Day Saturday 10th September in Parish Church
It's part of a nationwide event to promote heritage sites and buildings. Wincanton has many interesting stories and historical events to choose from. This year we are linking our first Open Day to the new town Heritage Trail, launched late December, 2015.
Coffee Morning with a Royal Difference

Travelling Nativity Visits Homes Around Wincanton
Volunteers from Wincanton Parish Church will be travelling around Wincanton in the lead up to Christmas, delivering Nativity scenes for a day or two in each home, and leaving a knitted sheep as a keepsake when it moves on.

Wincanton Parish Church is holding a Christmas Tree Festival over a three day period. Everyone is welcome to come and support this event from 13th to 15th December. A programme of church services will be taking place during December.
Police Arrest Driver After Crashing Into Church Gates
On Saturday 30th November a driver under the influence of drink drove the wrong way down Church Street, crashing into the gates at St Peter and St Paul’s Parish Church and causing considerable damage.
