Coffee Morning with a Royal Difference

Monday 18 April 2016, 15:11

Wincanton Baptist Church, Mill Street

The folks at Wincanton Baptist Church are holding their next monthly coffee morning on Thursday 21st April in the Church hall, Mill Street between 1030 am and 12.00 noon. They have decided that as the dates coincide, this event will also be a celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The event is open to all, following the normal format with tea, coffee and homemade cake on offer. There is no charge for the event, but over the years some have given donations, all of which have been given to good causes. The most recent donation was given to the local food bank.

So, if you are in town on Thursday 21st April, take advantage and call in to the Baptist hall to celebrate the Queen’s big day and toast her with a good cuppa and a great slice of homemade cake (is there any Royal icing?). There is parking in Mill Street, but Churchfields car park is only a short walk away.
