Window Smashed in Mill Street

On Friday 11th June a resident's window in Mill Street, Wincanton was damaged, believed to be by a passer by. The damage occurred between 2300 - 0800. We are appealing for witnesses that may have seen or heard something in reference to this incident.

PCSO Jenny Maynard says, "This broken window was somebody's house and this reckless behaviour is extremely distressing for the family who live there. Broken glass can be really dangerous, especially if young children are about.

"Police patrols are being carried out in this area on a regular basis and I urge people to contact me if they have any information regarding this. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never ask your name and never trace your call.'
