Wincanton Community Hospital is recruiting trained nurses

Wincanton Community Hospital is holding a recruitment event on the 15th May 2018 for trained nurses. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified or experienced nurses to come and see what we can offer.

The event is from 10am until 7pm, and you can drop in to see us anytime between. We will be giving tours of the hospital and we can offer you an interview on the same day if you would like.

The team at Wincanton is proud to have recently won Team of the Month; nominated by a patient’s relative which is a token of the excellent nursing care we provide to the people we look after.

Our nurses work closely with the multi-disciplinary teams to help patients return to their own homes. Our complex patients and nurse-led ward provides plenty of opportunity for up-skilling in areas such as rehabilitation, end of life care and experience of mental health.

There is plenty to get involved in at the Hospital. Our patients enjoy activities such as hands-on craft, music sessions, and tea parties, all arranged by our innovative Activities Co-ordinator.

We can offer you:

  • Various hours.
  • Excellent annual leave entitlement.
  • Great learning and development opportunities.
  • Salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Relocation package.
  • Refer a Friend scheme.
  • NHS staff discounts including restaurants, gym membership, retail stores etc.
  • Enhanced rate of pay for weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.
  • Childcare vouchers.
  • Payment of 1st year registration fees for newly qualified staff.
  • Free on-site parking.
