Friday 17 December 2010, 01:23
By Mandy Cochrane

Over the past year, Wincanton Window has shown you some stunning photography. Some are just a little out of the ordinary, as the photo below, kindly given to us by Carymoor Environment Centre, demonstrates!

For your chance to win some festive champagne and chocolates, simply think of a humorous caption to go with the photo - we've started you off with an example.

You can enter in one of two ways:

  1. Log in to your Wincanton Window user account to add your caption in the comments section. If you don't have a user account yet, setting one up is really easy - just click on "Register" at the top of any page of the web site and follow the instructions. Let us know if you have any problems and we'll talk you through it.
  2. If you're a fan of our Facebook Page, add a comment to the photo, which will appear in the album entitled Christmas Competition. Click on the link at the top of this page to be taken to our Facebook Page.

We'll judge the winning caption on Christmas Eve and we'll get your prize to you as soon as possible, so you can get your Christmas celebrations of to a flying start!

Good luck everyone - we're looking forward to reading your captions!

You may add as many captions as you want.

I remember her sister Lilly (The pink). Dash it. That's worse than Don's effort.

Just thought I ought to round off our Christmas competition and let everyone know that all the captions were judged by someone independent of the Window, and the winner of the champagne and chocolates was Mrs Leah Macey, from Horsington, who entered the competition via Facebook. The winning caption was:

"I'm sure it said GREEN on the box..!"

Thank you to everyone who took part, it was lots of fun reading all your captions. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a prize for a future competition, please write to me at mandy@wincantonwindow.co.uk.
