Alistair and Malcolm Bane at The Hunter’s Lodge, Bayford are doing their bit to promote great food, and bring great entertainment to the Wincanton scene. Being located within four miles of the Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire borders they are in a great position to run a food show featuring produce and producers from all three counties.

The Tri-Border Food Show runs between 9.00am and 5.00pm on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July.

Alistair and Malcolm dipped their toes in the show water last year with a successful event run by an outside organisation, but for 2014 the Tri-Border Food Show is all home-grown. At the time of writing, between 50 and 60 stalls have booked their pitches.

The event will be staged in the field behind The Hunter’s Lodge, so there’s no shortage of space for stalls, visitors or vehicles. As you can see from the poster below there will be no shortage of entertainment for all ages on the day. The only challenge will be to decide what to do first. Make this event part of a special family weekend.
