Can you help identify a man who assaulted a teenager in Bruton?
We are appealing for help to identify a man in the Bruton area following an assault on a teenager.
It happened at between 9:45pm and 10pm on Saturday 8th December.
A 16-year-old girl was walking across Packhorse Bridge in the direction of Kings School when she was approached by a man who grabbed her arm and pushed her up against a wall. He then rubbed his finger across her neck before she managed to push his arm away and run off.
The man is described as wearing a dark coloured woollen hat, a dark puffa-style jacket, dark trousers and lighter coloured ‘worker’ style boots that had the laces undone.
If you recognise this description, or if you were in the area and remember seeing this person, please contact us immediately on 101, quoting reference number 5218272060 and ask to speak to PC 2967.
