Somerset Wildlife Trust Talk - A Seasonal Look at British Wildlife
On Tuesday 4th December the Somerset Wildlife Trust is giving a talk entitled 'British Wildlife in Autumn and Winter' at Caryford Hall, Ansford. The talk is a seasonal look at British wildlife with photographer and wildlife writer David Kjaer.
Scouts Group Christmas Bazaar - 1st December 2012
The 1st Wincanton Scouts Group is holding their Christmas Bazaar on Saturday 1st December. So just pop along to the Wincanton Memorial Hall at 10.00am for a quiet coffee and a biscuit, and browse around our many stalls.

Hft (Home Farm Trust) Christmas Fair - Saturday 24th November 2012
The annual hft Christmas Fair takes place at Wincanton Memorial Hall, 10.00am to 1.30pm. Come and shop at our wonderful stalls including our famous delicatessen, cakes and children's toys and clothes, and help this charity support people with learning disabilities.

Hallowe'en Casino Night Floodlight Fundraiser
Wincanton Town Football club are hosting a Halloween Casino Night on Saturday 27th October 2012 at Wincanton Sports Ground. Money raised will help to buy floodlights and make site improvements, having narrowly missed out on the opportunity last year.

Cranmore Chase 10K Run is on 30th September 2012
This year's annual 10k run, organised by Brue Valley Rotary Club with more off road sections, starts at Cranmore Station at 11.00am on 30th September 2012. Local charities in Wincanton, Castle Cary and Bruton will benefit from funds raised.

Kids' Activity Bus at Wincanton Recreation Ground
On Tuesday 28th August, the Yarlington Activity Bus will run fun children's activities at Wincanton Recreation Ground's car park. The theme is "Under the Sea". This is also an opportunity for you to consult with SSDC about the play area.
