KA students develop employment skills with Crestmoor Training
Six current Year 11 students at King Arthur’s School have gained their certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development, after working with local training company, Crestmoor Training.
King Arthur's achieved solid GCSE results this year
Despite this year's more rigorous assessment procedures, 51% of King Arthur’s students achieved above the national standard of 5 or more GCSEs including English and Mathematics at grades A*C or 9-4 with 54% gaining standards for Maths and English.
King Arthur’s School Class of ’76 Reunion
To mark the 40th anniversary of leaving King Arthur’s Community School in Wincanton a class reunion is planned for Saturday 10th September 2016. We would like to have many of our former classmates with us at the celebration.

King Arthur’s Open Evening – Thursday 18th September
At the school’s annual Open Evening next Thursday children can take part in our ‘Round Table’ challenge, look around the school and meet our staff. Everyone is welcome, even if you do not have a child approaching secondary school age.

David Kiddell – a Great Loss for King Arthur’s School
On Tuesday 17th June, David Kiddell, Head of Design Technology at King Arthur’s School since 1997, died suddenly in the early hours of the morning. Staff and students grieved as they dealt with the loss of a very caring, hardworking teacher.
