Car Blaze in Memorial Hall Car Park
At around 2.00am on the morning of Monday 4th May, a car parked in the far south east of the Memorial Car Park was set ablaze. Devon & Somerset Fire brigade believe that this was a deliberate act of arson.

C.A.T.C.H. Open the Weir Near Hawkers Bridge VIDEO
On Sunday 19th April 2015, the C.A.T.C.H. team removed a sluice gate in the Hawkers Bridge weir, Wincanton. There are two weirs bookending the Wincanton stretch of the River Cale, preventing fish passing back up through them to reach up-stream.

A group of local people, who live in Charlton Musgrove and Gillingham, organised a charitable ploughing match on Easter Sunday at Lower Zeals near Mere, and raised the amazing sum of £1300.
