The Great Tug of War of 2015

Winky Kicks Cancer is stepping up a gear this year with an “old skool” sports day for adults and children this Sunday 27th August, starting at 2pm at The Dolphin Hotel at the top of Wincanton's High Street. The day was originally planned for 22nd July, but it was postponed due to bad weather.

Take a trip down memory lane to your own school sports day. The tug of war, egg & spoon race, three-legged race, and of course some West Country “welly wanging”. Guaranteed hilarity for all the family, with prizes to be won.

There'll also be a bouncy castle, a BBQ, music, a raffle and an auction that boasts the following impressive list of prizes donated by a wide range of local businesses.

All proceeds to support Cancer Research. Contact Kate Freeman at for more information.
