The 2013/2014 season has been very successful for Wincanton Town FC (Youth Section), with two of our teams not only winning their respective leagues and League Knockout Cups, but our Under 16’s also won the Yeovil Youth Football Shield (which has been running since 1903).

Wincanton Town FC (Youth Section), was founded in 1992 and we presently consist of seven teams which play in three Somerset Leagues. Our Under 9s, 10s, 11s and 12s play in the Yeovil & District Mini Football League, our Under 14s and Under 16s play in the Yeovil & District Youth Football League, we also have an Under 14s Girls team who play in the Somerset Girls Football League.

Next season we will be entering seven teams into 4 different Somerset Leagues. The teams will be:
Under 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s, 18s and Under 15 Girls.

Also in the next few weeks we will be offering coaching for younger players from the age of three upwards. More info on this will be available soon, as soon as we have all the details finalised.

From Saturday 14th June 2014 Wincanton will become HeartSafe, with the provision of a public access defibrillator at our home ground of Maddocks Park, Wincanton Sports Ground, Somerset.
