Wincanton Choral Society's Christmas Concert

Wincanton Choral Society and their conductor Simon Twiselton will be presenting a Christmas Concert on Sunday December 11th which will be filled with festive spirit.

It will feature excerpts from Handel's "Messiah", Karl Jenkins' "A Celebration of Christmas", Morten Lauridsen's ethereal "O Magnum Mysterium" and a selection of other seasonal favourites. Joining them will be soprano Katharine Hawnt, pianist Jacquelyn Bevan, flautist Susie Hodder-Williams with Edward Burns leading a string quartet.

The performance will take place on Sunday 11th December in Wincanton Sports Centre commencing at 7.30pm.
