Since our inception WBT has grown steadily, and we have now reached a place where the current committee is coming under pressure. We have established the annual Christmas Extravaganza as a successful event, bringing traders and residents together for an evening of festive fun and shopping. We also have plans to resurrect the Wincanton Festival as a Spring/Summer event. We see this event as a balance to the Extravaganza.

However, WBT is not just about High Street traders. We also have a responsibility to promote and encourage the whole business community, and that includes all businesses on our trading estates, and, in these modern times, a huge number of businesses who work from home. I believe that this business sector is probably the fastest growing sector, and may already be as big if not bigger than the other sectors.

We would like to start organising business seminars and networking events as soon as possible to bring extra benefits/help to our business communities. What are the issues that trouble your business?
