The Great Gatsby, showing at Wincanton Film Society

Wincanton Film Society is screening 'The Great Gatsby' at King Arthur's Performance Enhancement Centre on Tuesday 20th May at 7.30pm. A great cast headed by Leonardo Di Caprio; a visually stunning film subject about one of the classic periods of the 20th Century in the USA.

This film is an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Long Island-set novel, where Midwesterner Nick Carraway is lured into the lavish world of his neighbour, Jay Gatsby. Soon enough, however, Carraway will see through the cracks of Gatsby's nouveau riche existence, where obsession, madness, and tragedy await. For more information about this film check it out on IMDB.

Film night at King Arthur's gives you the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening with refreshments served in a café style area from around 7.00pm. Add a great film to the mix and the end result is a great night out.

The WFS screenings are open to all and entry is £5.00 on the door. Access is from the Dancing Lane entrance and parking is immediately on the right as you enter the school grounds.
