Wincanton Choral Society - Still Time to Join
Following our very successful Twentieth Anniversary year, the Wincanton Choral Society began our twenty-first season on Monday 6th September.
The main work for our Winter Concert on 12th December will be a selection from Bach's Christmas Oratorio.
For the Spring Concert on 15th May 2011 we will be perfoming Haydn's "The Creation."
Anyone who enjoys singing is very welcome to come and join us, and we are particularly on the look out for tenors.
Our rehearsals are held in the Performance Enhancement Centre at King Arthur's School in Wincanton every Monday evening from 7.15 until 9.00pm.
October Concert in the Parish Church
The Society said an emotional farewell to our wonderful accompanist, Anita D'Attellis, after the May concert. Anita, an extremely talented concert pianist, is giving a Recital for the Society in Wincanton Parish Church on Saturday 16th October at 7.30 pm.
